Summary

Aerial imagery was collected for Puerto Rico in the days directly following Hurricane Maria (09/26/2017 – 10/24/2017). The intent was to quickly develop a snapshot of current conditions to help guide response efforts.

As part of Hurricane Maria response and recovery efforts, a contract was executed to collect aerial imagery on natural light and infrared sensor bands.

Methodology

The individual images were mosaiced into a best available set and composited into a WMTS tile set.

The overall spatial accuracy of the mosaiced images is an E95 of 6 meters.
