Summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory has  developed a Rapid Infrastructure Flood Tool (RIFT) to produce predictive hydrodynamic flood modeling and simulations for a diversity of flood  events:

  • extreme precipitation
  • dam failure
  • levee failure
  • spring snowmelt
  • coastal flooding
  • tsunami

Product:  90 m flood extent and depth grids (ft) usable in any geographic software.

Targeted Audiences: Infrastructure,  owner /operators, federal, state, and local emergency operation centers
